Immersion in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

I am pleased to be teaching a three day Jivamukti Immersion whilst I am in Phnom Penh this year.

I will also teach two open classes, one on Saturday March 16, one on Sunday, March 17. Both classes take place from 9 to 10.30 am.

5pm - 7pm: Introduction to the weekend and open class with a focus on forward bends and hip openers

7:15 - 7:30pm: Short video on AZAHAR Cambodia

8:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Chanting, meditation, and scripture.

9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Jivamukti practice, with a focus on backbends.

11:45 AM - 1:00 PM: Learn about assists and the technique of hands-on assists.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Lunch.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Finding the connection between yoga philosophy and Buddhism.

4:15 PM - 6:00 PM: The art of sequencing.

6:15 PM - 7:00 PM: Satsang (chanting and meditation).

8:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Chanting, meditation, and scripture.

9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Jivamukti practice, with a focus on twists and inversions.

11:45 AM - 1:00 PM: Learn the technique of hands-on assists.

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Lunch.

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Learn about yoga philosophy, the Sutra of Patanjali, and its practical application in daily life.

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: The art of sequencing.

6:15 PM - 7:00 PM: Q&A and closure of the immersion weekend.

Daily rate $80 for Saturday and Sunday, $25 for Friday

The Jivamukti Immersion™ experience is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the deeper teachings of the Jivamukti Yoga Method. The material presented is drawn from the one month Jivamukti Teacher Training course, but it is presented in a more relaxed way with plenty of time to enjoy and reflect.

The word "immersion" means to dive in deep. When we jump into a pool or a river, we are covered by water from head to toe. We are "immersed". A Yoga Immersion allows us to dive deeper into the subject than we normally would, when taking open classes. The Jivamukti immersion provides a taste of the elements that are integrated into the method and seves as a preparation for or a review of the 300 hour Jivamukti Teacher Training.

Yogeswari is the founder and president of AZAHAR Foundation, whose mission is to promote a culture of peace through yoga, meditation and the arts.
She is also one of the most senior teachers of the Jivamukti Yoga Method. She is Advanced Certified, a Facilitator of Jivamukti Teacher Trainings, and has taken many Jivamukti Certified Teachers through one-on-one apprenticeships towards their 800-hour-certification. Since 2004, she has been teaching around the world. Yogeswari is known for her vigorous, seamless Vinyasa sequencing, and her thought-provoking philosophical teachings. With 20 years of experience in dance and choreography, she brings liveliness and vibrancy to all her work.

The immersion is open to all level. It is perfect for those wishing to delve into the practical and mystical practices of Jivamukti Yoga.
