Jivamukti Yoga Retreat in Greece

Join Yogeswari for a Jivamukti Yoga Retreat in Mani, Greece at the beautiful Zen Rocks.

It will be the only retreat available with Yogeswari in 2023.

Yogeswari will be joined by the amazing Gaiea Sanskrit for the retreat. She will bring beautiful music in Sanskrit to this retreat during Kirtan sessions and evening music from the Heavenly Spheres.

The retreat is part of the THRIVE Festival taking place at Zen Rocks from May 19 to Junie 18, 2023.

Description of the retreat

We will start the day with Chanting, Pranayama and Meditation, followed by a rigorous Jivamukti practice and a delicious vegan brunch. Afterwards, we will gather in a circle to explore sacred music-krirtan-mantra as ways to connect with the deeper pulse within and beyond.

There will be free time during the sunniest part of the day for the beach, exploring nature, journaling, massage and relaxing by the pool. We will reconvene in the late afternoon for a workshop on how yoga stimulates compassion, creativity and positivity in activism. After enjoying a spectacular sunset over dinner, we will be lulled into mystical dimensions with Gaiea’ s music from the Heavenly Spheres.

The costs range from 1.290 € to 2.800/3.800 € depending on the type of accommodation you choose.

Location

Zen Rocks is located about 30 minutes south of the city of Kalamata, in a quiet olive grove amidst sea and blue skies. The closest village to us is Kalianeika, about one kilometer from us.

Travel information

Airports are Athens international airport, called Eleftherios Venizelos (ATH) or Kalamata Airport  (KLX).

Kalamata airport is 30-40min from the retreat center, Athen's airport is 2.5-3 hours drive from Zen Rocks.

Airport transfers can be arranged through Zen Rocks or you book a rental car from Athens or Kalamata and drive around on your own.

Requirements

There is no prior experience necessary.  All retreat participants welcome.
