Workshop in Hamburg

I am very happy to finally be back in Hamburg for the last weekend in August. I will be teaching two Jivamukti Open classes, a workshop and one Jivamukti XL class as well as one Satsang.

In this workshop, we will first hear about the cultural and socio-political environment of New York’s East Village, from which Jivamukti Yoga emerged. We will then discuss the most significant spiritual teachers and lineages that built the foundation for the five tenets of Jivamukti yoga, and how these tenets build a bridge between the classical yoga of ancient times and the modern, Western world. We will then practice and analyze some of the classical Jivamukti sequences and experience the elements that expand them from the physical into a holistic, spiritual practice.
